Job summary

What You Will Do
  • Support the program in the Failure Reporting And Corrective Action (FRACAS) process
  • Help define failure modes and their effects on systems
  • Collaborate with hardware/software design teams to identify and resolve non-conformances
  • Perform data analysis on large, complex data sets, generating actionable reports and recommendations
  • Analyze system logs to determine cause for system downtime
  • Utilize experience with various databases for data input, report generation and data management
  • Automate processes to enhance efficiency and scalability in handling large datasets
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to communicate findings and address technical challenges
  • Facilitate effective analysis of data and detection of failure patterns
  • Interface with stakeholders on issues observed in the fleet for system stability or performance improvements
  • Present information to internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Work in a SCIF environment
Qualifications
  • You Must Have Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to manage and analyze large datasets using Excel, including complex filtering, data matching, and trend analysis
  • Programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL development (Microsoft SQL, My SQL, SQL Lite), and Tableau
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • We Prefer Experience with radar, electronic warfare, or similar electronic systems
  • Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Excel for data analysis, using Pivot Tables, lookup functions, nested formulas, and spreadsheet automation
  • MATLAB, JIRA, Linux
  • Familiarity with data visualization & Extract Transform Load (ETL) Testing and debugging

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
