Job summary

Wawa, Inc. seeks an Integrated Supply and Demand System Specialist to own end-to-end forecasting, replenishment, and master data quality across the enterprise.

As RELEX Super User, you’ll optimize predictive models and automate processes impacting in-stock performance and profitability for 2M+ article/site combinations and 4,500+ daily orders across 1,200+ stores. You will lead system enhancements, data quality improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with IT, Marketing, and Store

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Analytics, Supply Chain, or Business Intelligence is a plus.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, advanced analytics, or supply chain systems.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting principles, retail inventory management, and replenishment best practices.
• Analytics capability with data modeling, scenario analysis, and performance diagnostics.
• Experience with BI tools and extracting/analyzing large datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or VBA with ability to translate skills to platform languages.
• ERP experience; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with RELEX or other advanced retail optimization platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and support opportunities to expand RELEX capabilities beyond store level forecasting and replenishment.
• Contribute to creating and enhancing an integrated operating model connecting suppliers, warehouses, and stores.
• Serve as Wawa’s primary RELEX Super User with deep forecasting, replenishment, and automation expertise.
• Maintain system configuration, rules, forecasting parameters, and master data for accuracy and stability.
• Act as first line of support for RELEX issues and diagnose/systematically resolve problems.
• Design, test, and implement system enhancements, upgrades, automation, and integrations with IT and business teams.
• Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap of system enhancements based on business needs.
• Strengthen end-user capabilities through training and ongoing support.
• Collaborate across departments to align forecasting approaches with business requirements.
• Provide strategic recommendations to reduce waste and improve in-stock performance across stores.
• Own system configuration for promotions, machine-learning models, and replenishment optimization.
• Manage forecasting/replenishment for enterprise-wide events and planned closures.
• Identify business rule adjustments to detect anomalies and forecast risks.
• Translate complex system data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Provide analytical leadership on forecasting or replenishment projects.
• Ensure project objectives align with corporate strategies.
