Job summary

TechDigital Group in Chicago, IL is seeking a seasoned Release Manager to coordinate monthly releases for the Cash Portfolio. You will align stakeholders across Capability, Technology, SQM and Business to ensure readiness, dependencies mapping, and smooth execution.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Monthly Release Calendar, resolving clashes, leading pre-release communications and post-release updates, and driving governance with audit-ready runbooks and artefacts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Monthly Release Calendar with dependencies and avoid clashes.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and run release forums.
• Prepare release decks; ensure correct versions and baselined changes.
• Create and track Release runbook; review with stakeholders.
• Lead runbook execution and release chats.
• Communicate Go/No-Go outcomes; post-release updates.
• Coordinate deployments across Capability, Tech, SQM and Business.
• Log post-release issues with ownership; triage root causes.
• Apply CRM processes across releases; ensure governance and audits.
• Organize release artifacts with version control and audit trails.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Aligned to directly coordinate the readiness and execution of monthly releases for the Cash Portfolio;
• Prepare, maintain, and govern the Monthly Release Calendar, ensuring dependencies are mapped; Proactively identify and resolve release clashes and dependency conflicts.
• Respond to release scheduling queries, resolve conflicts and facilitate release related forums and calls
• Support preparation of release decks, ensuring correct versions are used, changes are tightly controlled once baselined
• Create, maintain and track the Release runbook, facilitate reviews with the relevant stakeholders
• Orchestrate execution of the agreed runbook including opening and managing release chats
• Lead release communications covering pre-release readiness, Go/No-Go outcomes, post release confirmation and updates
• Coordinate release deployment activities across Capability, Technology, SQM and Business stakeholders
• Log and track post release issues, clearly recording ownership; Facilitate issue triage meetings to capture root causes and prioritise issues based on impacts
• Apply CRM processes consistently across releases, ensuring adherence to governance standards and audit expectations.
• Maintain and manage release documentation and folders, ensuring artefacts are organised, version controlled, and audit ready

PMO Responsibilities

• Program level scheduling including features by release
• Annual planning , resource forecasting and maintenance
• Initiative level Governance, maintain central RAID log, support stakeholder communications
• Project Status Reporting and Governance updates
• Support Internal program Audit
• Coordinate the collation of Initiative release readiness material
• Financial tracking & reporting
• Financial planning and administration - monthly/quarterly Clarity portfolio management & reporting, Clarity admin support updates – resource forecasting support, Task creation and resource addition through the year supporting implementation leads
