Compunnel, Inc. seeks two Release Engineers to support Azure-based cloud and release engineering activities.

This role is responsible for the deployment, release, and maintenance of cloud-based applications and services across platforms such as Azure and AWS. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable cloud solutions and ensure smooth transitions of code from development to production.

Qualifikationen

• 4–5+ years of experience in release engineering and cloud infrastructure.
• AZ-104 certification is required.
• Experience with Terraform is required.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD processes, Git workflows, and programming concepts.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with security and quality gates.
• Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources using IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Lead and execute release engineering tasks for cloud services, ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Act as a gatekeeper in the infrastructure and application lifecycle, ensuring code integrity and quality.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding release status, issues, and improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide global cloud architecture initiatives.
