Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build the next generation of release automation for EMR, Glue, and Athena. You will design and implement services that automate the build, validation, and distribution of releases across all deployment modes and services.

You will work on distributed systems that must be reliable, scalable, and secure, and you will contribute to reducing operational toil through automation, improving release velocity, and ensuring

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
