Job summary

ABM Electrical Power Services in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Relay Technician to join our on-site team. The Senior Relay Field Technician calibrates, installs, maintains, and repairs protective relays and related equipment to ensure the electric grid operates safely and reliably.

You will work with complex control systems, protective relay hardware (microprocessor and electro-mechanical), substation protections, station automation, and SCADA systems to troubleshoot and restore performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with protective relay systems (microprocessor & electro-mechanical) and related equipment.
• Ability to calibrate, install, maintain, and repair control systems within substations and utility protections.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, install, maintain and repair protective relays and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex control systems, protection systems and SCADA applications to ensure reliability.
