• Complete additional assignments as determined by their supervisor.

This position will provide the intern with practical engineering experience as it relates to the protection and control of electrical power systems.Key ResponsibilitiesWork alongside staff engineers to help perform electrical calculations, coordination studies, short circuit studies, and design relay logic to develop protective relaying settings to detect and isolate faults on AES Ohio’s transmission and distribution system.Assist in producing detailed engineering in accordance with AES Ohio and relevant industry standards (IEEE, NERC, etc.).Complete additional assignments as determined by their supervisor.QualificationsA student pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.An academic standing of Sophomore or higher is preferred.
