Job summary

Ameren Illinois is looking for a Relay Database Specialist to manage population, maintenance, and support of Substation and Relay databases, ensuring data for NERC, FERC, and SERC inquiries is accurate and well-documented.

You will update Maximo records, assist field personnel with data transfer, and provide drawings or schematics for construction and maintenance projects, ensuring proper documentation and retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor degree preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in data or database support.
• Experience or knowledge of Maximo and relay testing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, maintain and update relay maintenance data and records.
• Track and review construction and maintenance packages for completeness.
• Assist with data transition between database and field personnel.
• Provide database records and drawings for field personnel.
• Update Maximo records as appropriate.
• Assist in database support for substation and relay maintenance databases.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate's Degree in Computer Science/Database Management

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Database Management
