Ameren Illinois is looking for a Relay Database Specialist to manage population, maintenance, and support of Substation and Relay databases, ensuring data for NERC, FERC, and SERC inquiries is accurate and well-documented.
You will update Maximo records, assist field personnel with data transfer, and provide drawings or schematics for construction and maintenance projects, ensuring proper documentation and retention.

The Relay Database Specialist is responsible for the population, maintenance and support of all components of all Substation and Relay Maintenance databases, especially the data required for NERC Compliance Maintenance activities. This position will be required to efficiently and accurately update all data and supporting documentation for all FERC, NERC and SERC inquiries and audits. This position will be required to insure that all maintenance data and drawings are properly documented and retained in its proper database.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in Computer Science/Database Management or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Database Management or equivalent Degree preferred. Five or more years of relevant experience (i.e., field, operations, database support) required. Experience or knowledge of Maximo, Microsoft Office applications, Enoservs Powerbase and Relay Testing System preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Proven ability of technical and software database support required. Basic or thorough knowledge of querying and manipulation of databases preferred. Basic or thorough knowledge of Substation and Relay equipment preferred.

$60,600.00 - $90,900.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
