Panelmatic Inc. seeks a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for second shift production to build control panels per shop drawings. The technician will drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices on enclosures according to shop standards.

Required: high school diploma, 1+ year experience with metalworking tools, strong organizational and listening skills, reliability, and excellent communication. Must have US work authorization and be able to lift 50 lbs and pass background checks.

• Ensure project quality is within the specification
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform tasks within quoted hours for each project
• Perform additional duties as needed to ensure the project schedule and timeline are met

Job Summary:

Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for second shift production. The Technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards.

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings

• Layout device locations on stainless and mild steel enclosures
• Use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws to make cutouts for devices
• Use hand and power tools to layout, measure, drill, and tap steel plates
• Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, and nameplates
• Ensure project quality is within the specification
