Job description

JOB TITLE:

Relationship Manager

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide origination and client coverage support to the Managing Director, including client relationship management functions.
  2. Use an in-depth understanding of the Credit Agricole Group’s product offerings and network to advance business development efforts with the team’s clients and prospects.
  3. Independently manage responsibilities for certain client relationships; collaborate with the Managing Director to lead specific clients, especially new prospects in the Power and Energy sectors, including energy transition.
  4. Understand each client’s strategy, business, and financial situation; anticipate their needs for financial services.
  5. Map client organizations and identify key decision-makers to develop strong relationships and foster multi-product, multi-country relationships between the bank and the client.
  6. Develop and leverage an in-depth understanding of clients’ and prospects’ strategies and business focus areas for the bank’s benefit.
  7. Assist in developing and managing global revenue budgets for each primary coverage client.
  8. Coordinate with product groups and international counterparts regarding new and existing business opportunities and internal matters, including credit approvals and pitches.
  9. Cultivate and upgrade the prospect list for future client development.
  10. Oversee the preparation of briefing memos, internal and external presentations, financial models, pro forma capital structures, credit requests, and approval processes for new transactions, amendments, and annual reviews.
  11. Monitor compliance with KYC requirements, internal monitoring, portfolio reviews, and analyze risk/return metrics on transactions and client relationships.
  12. Progressively take responsibility for a P&L portfolio within a prime origination function.
  13. Act as sector expertise leader internally and externally; participate actively in industry conferences and panels.
  14. Serve as the first line of defense in primary origination by vetting counterparties, opportunities, and risk/reward metrics.
Special Role Requirements
  • Willingness to travel is required.

Salary Range: $180k-$230k.
