As a Relationship Manager III - C&IB within PNC's Commercial Banking organization, you will be based in Chicago, IL.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.

Commercial Banking provides financial services to companies with sales from $5 million to $50 million. You will be a trusted advisor within a fast-paced environment. Your ability to identify and cultivate relationships will support building networks within the marketplace. You will serve as a strategic partner to clients by adding value and providing best-in-class products and business solutions. Your dedication to growing your portfolio through new approaches, while embracing continuous improvement, will support your and your team's success. Utilizing technology platforms to prospect, network and communicate will differentiate you from other bankers.

Job Description
  • Sets relationship strategies and manages activities with clients to grow sales, revenue, and market share, working with clients with advanced needs. Works independently and may mentor others.
  • Creates and drives strategies to acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue. Handles origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of credit and non-credit products.
  • Manages risk/return and drives quality for clients. Identifies and mitigates risks such as regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks.
  • Focuses on client opportunities by understanding their needs and financial well-being. Drives client engagement and loyalty. Mentors others as needed.
  • Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders to acquire and expand clients and enhance the client experience. Leverages reporting and sales tools to identify and convert opportunities.
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and mitigates credit risk for complex credit requests using advanced credit fundamentals and policies.
Qualifications

Successful candidates should demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Skills include Book of Business, Client Relationship Building, Credit, Customer Engagement, Financial Analysis, and Sales Opportunities. Competencies include Business Acumen, Client Management, Customer Experience, Decision Making, Communication, Prospecting, Selling, and Tech Savvy. Typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and industry certifications. Higher education or certifications are desirable but not mandatory.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $96,000 - $193,200. Compensation may vary based on location, skills, experience, and education. The role is incentive eligible.
