Relationship Manager Business Banking II

Develops and manages relationships with business banking clients in the assigned business segment and/or geographic areas. Actively engages in the sales process to attain regional and individual goals, while maintaining credit quality and risk management guidelines. Presents product solutions, provides quality service, and manages portfolio profitability and risk.

Location: Oxnard Branch or Westlake Village Branch

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop profitable client relationships through business development activities.
  • Understand client needs and provide effective financial solutions.
  • Support other departments and colleagues, participate in community activities.
  • Prepare relationship plans, call schedules, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Promote all bank products and services, discuss financing, and develop client solutions.
  • Negotiate and close transactions, ensure compliance, and exercise sound credit judgment.
  • Represent the bank in community and industry activities.
  • Coordinate with other departments, resolve client issues, and monitor relationship results.
  • Analyze portfolio quality, risk, and profitability; develop strategies to improve performance.
  • Serve as a product specialist and manage operational workflow to match client needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of banking experience.
  • At least 5 years of commercial lending experience within the segment.
  • At least 3 years of credit experience.
  • Must be in good standing under Safe Act and registered/licensed with NMLS or able to be registered.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Knowledge of bank operations, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Understanding of bank products and services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
Compensation

Starting salary ranges from $78,970 to $126,140 annually, with potential bonuses or commissions. Exact pay depends on skills, experience, and location.
