Job summary

1000heads is seeking a Relationship Manager to join the Relationships team in Los Angeles or New York. You will manage influencer relationships across brands, handling strategy, engagement, content management, and measurement projections.

You will collaborate with Accounts, Insights, Creative, and Strategy teams to deliver social-first campaigns, ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction. Requires a Bachelor Degree and 3–4 years in agency/influencer roles.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years account handling or influencer management experience.
• Agency experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the influencer landscape required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build client relationships; listen and understand requirements and meet or exceed expectations.
• Build influencer relationships; connect with influencers to promote trust and two-way communication.
• Lead Profiling briefs to ensure clear target audience understanding.
• Ensure Profiling processes (briefing and approval) are followed.
• Maintain Profiling understanding across team; verify Influential Voices.
• Maintain high engagement standards for campaigns, with ethical considerations.
• Develop and contribute creative ideas and solutions for client campaigns.
• Respond promptly to communications from voices and maintain relationships.
• Track budgets, invoices, and legal agreements to ensure compliance.
• Oversee event and activation planning, execution and performance.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects; adapt to changes.
• Foster relationships with influencers and identify new creators for collaboration.
• Ensure events stay within client budgets and get approval for expenditures.

We are looking for a Relationship Manager to join our Relationships team in New York or Los Angeles.

The 1000heads Relationships team is a proud, powerful collective of Social Media obsessives, experts managing influencer relationships. You will work closely with a whole host of departmental specialists, from Accounts, Insights, to Creative, to Strategy to deliver transformational social-first work for our clients.

Role

The Relationship Manager will work across the business and help manage influencer relationships for a variety of brands. This Includes: strategy, influencer engagement, content management, FTC monitoring and measurement projections/reports.

Responsibilities

• Building client relationships; listen and understand individual client requirements and consistently meeting if not exceeding their expectations
• Building influencer relationships; establish a genuine connection with influencers of all levels to promote trust and two-way communication
• Help lead Profiling briefs to ensure the team have a clear understanding of their target audience
• Responsible for ensuring the Profiling processes (briefing and approval) are adhered to
• Maintaining a consistent understanding & competence on Profiling across all team members; identification and verification of Influential Voices
• Maintaining the exceptional standard of all campaign engagement including ethical considerations
• Working along with team to develop, innovative, bring creative ideas and solutions for client campaigns
• Responsible for the timely response of all communication from voices and on-going relationship maintenance
• Track budgets, manage invoices, administer legal agreements and ensure compliance
• Overseeing Event and activation planning, execution and performance.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, including the ability to adapt rapidly to changes.
• Foster relationships with influencers and maintain an ear to the ground for new creators to collaborate with.
• Ensuring that events run to agreed client budgets and clients approve all expenditure before it happens, particularly 3rd party expenditure

• Bachelor Degree
• 3-4 years account handling or influencer management experience.
• Agency and equivalent experience
• Knowledge of the influencer landscape a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Social Platform proficiency
• Understanding of complex information with a problem solving approach
• Results-focused with a tenacious approach to delivery, quality of output and organization are key to this role
• Ability to work calmly, efficiently and professionally under pressure
• Ability to interact with people at all levels demonstrating tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity
• Meticulous attention to detail & excellent organizational and time management skills

SALARY RANGE
