About the role:

The Relationship Builder – Teller is a unique title for a unique credit union. Our Relationship Builder- Tellers are front-line representatives of the member experience who find the quick and simple solutions to everyday member needs and refer members to the proper advisor for needs that go beyond the teller line. Not only this, but our Relationship Builders-Tellers also use their exceptional people skills to initiate, retain, and develop relationships with members, making them feel valued and appreciated. That’s why we call them Relationship Builders and not just Tellers.

Qualifications

What you’ll do as the Relationship Builder – Teller:

  • Deliver an amazing experience to our members, both in branch and drive-thru
  • Balance vault cash, drawers, cash recycling, and cash disbursement machines
  • Assist members with daily account transactions, including cash and check deposits, cash withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, and bond processing
  • Understand and explain account activity and fees to members
  • Make necessary product referrals, and refer members to appropriate advisors for advanced account needs
  • Be awesome

To be successful as the Relationship Builder – Teller we are looking for someone with:

  • 1 year of related experience: customer service, hospitality, finance, or cash handling

Other Skills:

  • Well-organized, good mathematical ability
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to multi-task

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma, or equivalent
