Job summary

United Bank in Smithfield, PA seeks a Universal Banker to provide proactive, consultative service and build trusted client relationships. You will assist with branch operations, process transactions, and deliver a memorable customer experience while aiming to hit sales goals.

Candidates should have 3+ years of customer contact in banking or a related field, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Minimum three (3) years of customer contact and service experience, or two (2) years in a banking environment, preferably in a branch.
• Must be able to successfully complete the Bank’s in-house training program.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers proactively and manage lobby interactions to connect with clients.
• Process branch transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent service.
• Maintain knowledge of Bank products and services to discuss options with clients and schedule financial reviews.
• Refer customers to appropriate colleagues to discuss specific products/services as needed.
• Support daily branch operations and work well with other departments to resolve customer issues.
