Job summary

You will provide high-quality service, manage relationships for retention, open/close accounts, quote loans, and refer mortgage opportunities, while representing the bank in the community and supporting branch operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years in banking or related sales.
• Proven effective sales ability and exceptional customer service skills.
• Thorough knowledge of financial concepts; familiarity with desktop automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales activities ~80% of the time; cross-sell accounts and services as appropriate.
• Expand portfolio relationships with high-value customers by profiling and identifying needs.
• Provide qualified investment referrals to the appropriate branch personnel.
• Open and close the branch; open new accounts and perform deposit account maintenance.
• Quote rates for consumer loans and process applications; close loans accurately.
• Open and advise on IRAs; follow CIP guidelines and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Provide timely follow-up to clients and participate in community events.
• Support branch operations and cover for colleagues as needed.
