Job Description: Responsible for providing an industry-leading client service experience both in person and on the phone. Develops and expands new and existing client relationships by offering financial solutions based on consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for additional growth. Supports teller transactions as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Exercise proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution, and sales functions related to deposit, credit, and other product lines.
  2. Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services, focusing on relationship development, expansion, and retention.
  3. Support team sales by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to specialists.
  4. Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  5. Enhance sales techniques and product knowledge through training and meetings.
  6. Advise on consumer lending options and process loan applications.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk policies, staying informed of policy changes.
  8. Ensure a consistent client service experience through courteous interactions, assisting with transactions, and guiding clients within the branch.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of client sales and service experience
  • Experience in sourcing and building client relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • SAFE compliance within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends/extended hours as needed

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in discussing and selling banking products
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Understanding of bank operations and policies
