Job Description: Responsible for providing an industry-leading client service experience both in person and on the phone. Develops and expands new and existing client relationships, providing financial solutions tailored to client needs through consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for additional growth. Supports teller transactions as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Exercise proficiency in routine client maintenance, problem resolution, and sales functions related to deposit, credit, and other product lines.
  2. Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering relevant products and services, focusing on relationship development, expansion, and retention.
  3. Support the team sales process through consultative conversations and referrals for complex client needs to internal specialists.
  4. Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  5. Enhance sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings, training, and online learning to better serve clients.
  6. Advise on consumer lending options and process loan applications.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of policy updates.
  8. Ensure a consistent client service experience by engaging clients courteously during transactions and assisting them within the branch.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of client sales and service experience
  • Experience in sourcing, prospecting, and relationship building
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications like Microsoft Office
  • SAFE compliance within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check
  • Ability to multi-task and work flexible hours, including weekends and travel as needed

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet sales goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience selling deposit, credit, and retirement products
  • Knowledge of bank operations and policies
