Job Description

Responsible for delivering an industry-leading client service experience both in person and over the phone, through developing and expanding client relationships. Provides financial solutions tailored to client needs based on consultative conversations, referring clients to other business partners for additional opportunities. Cross-trained to support teller transactions as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handle routine client requests, resolve problems, and perform advanced sales functions related to deposit, credit, and other product lines.
  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services that develop, expand, and retain relationships.
  • Support sales processes through consultative conversations and refer complex needs to specialists.
  • Participate in all components of the established Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  • Enhance knowledge of sales techniques and products through ongoing training and learning.
  • Advise on consumer lending options and process loan applications.
  • Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying updated on policy changes.
  • Ensure a consistent client service experience by engaging clients courteously and assisting with transactions and navigation within the branch.
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of client sales and service experience
  • Experience in sourcing and building client relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Compliance with SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to multi-task and travel as needed, including weekends and extended hours
Preferred
  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Experience in discussing and selling banking products
  • Understanding of bank operations and policies
