Position: Personal Banker / Financial Solutions Advisor

Type: Part-time, Contract

Compensation: $80 - $110/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Review client scenarios that reflect real branch conversations, providing advice on budgeting, mortgage, retirement planning, and investing.
• Evaluate AI-generated financial guidance for clarity, suitability, and practicality for mass-market and mid-market customers.
• Document the decision-making process and conversation flow used in-branch, including when to recommend solutions or refer to specialists.
• Provide written feedback to improve AI explanations, next steps, and tradeoff framing for non-expert clients.
• Identify compliance and risk considerations, clearly defining when to avoid giving advice or escalate to another team.

Requirements

• Have several years of hands-on experience in roles such as Personal Banker, Relationship Banker, or Financial Solutions Advisor at a major bank or credit union.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in conducting needs-based financial conversations and matching clients to appropriate banking and investment solutions.
• Possess strong familiarity with core consumer products, including checking and savings accounts, personal loans, and digital banking tools.
• Have experience assisting clients with budgeting, expense management, and debt payoff strategies.
• Exhibit exceptional written communication skills, capable of explaining financial concepts in clear and empathetic language.
