Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
• Knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
• Experience with retail investments and lending products a plus
• Experience in financial services is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects by providing needs-based assessments to grow loyalty and identify opportunities
• Engage customers to complete needs assessments identifying financial solutions and channels
• Offer guidance on digital and self-serve options to simplify banking for customers
• Support customer transactions based on customer traffic
• Build new relationships within the community and generate appointments
• Apply risk management framework to protect assets and comply with lending policies
• Make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions including home financing
• Collaborate within branch and market teams to deliver customer experience
• Identify and report suspicious activity and ensure regulatory compliance
• Protect customer privacy and ensure data integrity
