Job Description

Responsible for delivering an industry-leading client service experience both in person and over the phone, developing and expanding client relationships. Provides financial solutions based on consultative conversations and refers clients to other business partners for additional growth. Supports teller transactions as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handle routine client requests, resolve problems, and perform advanced sales functions related to deposit, credit, and other service lines.
  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering suitable products and services.
  • Support the sales process through consultative conversations and referring complex needs to specialists.
  • Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  • Enhance sales techniques and product knowledge through training and meetings.
  • Advise on consumer lending options and process loan applications.
  • Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
  • Provide a consistent client service experience with courteous interactions, assisting with transactions and guiding clients within the branch.
Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of client sales and service experience
  • Experience sourcing and building client relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications
  • Must become SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to multi-task and travel as needed
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours
Preferred:
  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Strong multitasking skills under time constraints
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience selling deposit, credit, and retirement products
  • Proven sales success
  • Understanding of bank operations and policies
