Job Description

You have a passion for helping customers, building relationships, and delivering extraordinary customer service. Job Responsibilities

  • Delivers an exceptional customer experience by acting with a customer-first attitude
  • Manages assigned customers and proactively meets with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, discover financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations
  • Makes personal connections, engages and educates customers, asks open-ended questions, and listens to establish trust and build lasting relationships
  • Influences, educates, and connects customers to technology
  • Possesses initiative and knowledge to provide financial options for customers using a consultative approach
  • Learns products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately and delivers solutions that make our One Chase products work together
  • Works in partnership with Specialists (Financial Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers) to connect customers to experts who can help them with specialized financial needs

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in Retail banking sales, Financial services sales, or related industry, with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening customer relationships, and delivering results
  • High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
  • Beginning October 1, 2018, the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses are required. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses within 180 days of hire
  • Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products/services to customers with differing needs
  • Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • College degree or military equivalent
  • Professional, thorough, and organized with strong follow-up skills
  • Exude confidence when sharing product knowledge and solutions with clients
  • Experience adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements

Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act

This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. An employment offer is contingent on review of your criminal history, credit report, and other relevant information to demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and fitness for the role. Any felony within the last seven years disqualifies you. Continued employment depends on compliance with these requirements and successful registration on NMLS, which you will be required to do upon employment.
