Qualifications

• High School Diploma strongly preferred; some college preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of banking experience as a Teller, Lending Assistant or New Accounts is required.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Superior customer service skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Maintains exactness and accuracy in daily work.
• Ability to multi-task and use sound judgment in decision-making.

Responsibilities

• The Relationship Banker serves as the single point of contact for customers, matching needs with First United Bank products.
• Opens new accounts, certificates of deposit, and other products; assists with paperwork and data entry.
• Provides routine customer service: balance inquiries, statements, stop payments, online banking, wire processing, notary services.
• Processes transactions quickly with minimal errors and adheres to bank policies and procedures.
• Maintains cash drawer accuracy and performs vault duties; resolves discrepancies.
• Proactively resolve complaints and issues; participate in sales campaigns and customer appreciation events.
• Builds strong relationships, provides personalized service, and ensures regulatory compliance.
