Relationship Banker - Hershey's Mill Branch

This position involves providing exceptional client service both in person and over the phone, developing and expanding client relationships, and offering financial solutions tailored to client needs. The role includes cross-training to support teller transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Handle routine client maintenance requests, resolve problems, and perform advanced sales functions related to deposit, credit, and other product lines.
  2. Meet or exceed client service and sales targets by offering products and services that develop and retain relationships.
  3. Support the sales process through consultative conversations and referrals to internal specialists for complex needs.
  4. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  5. Enhance sales techniques and product knowledge through ongoing training and meetings.
  6. Advise on consumer lending options and process loan applications.
  7. Comply with internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of policy changes.
  8. Provide a consistent client service experience by engaging clients courteously, conducting transactions, and assisting them within the branch.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of client sales and service experience
  • Experience in sourcing, prospecting, and relationship building
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background checks
  • Ability to multi-task and travel as needed
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Experience in discussing, recommending, and selling banking products
  • Proven sales performance
  • Knowledge of bank operations and policies
