Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Bend, OR is seeking a Community & Business Banker to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships. You will engage clients in financial conversations, open and manage checking and loan products, and drive referrals across Home Loans, Treasury Solutions, Merchant Services, and Wealth Management.

Responsibilities

• Delivers personalized client service in person and over the phone, answering questions and offering solutions.
• Opens and maintains products including checking, savings, CDs, and consumer/ small business loans.
• Processes new consumer and small business loan requests.
• Holds financial conversations to determine client needs and provide solutions.
• Identifies referrals to Home Loans, Treasury Solutions, Merchant Services, Business Banking, and Wealth Management.
• Builds client relationships through outbound engagement and proactive outreach.
• Performs Teller duties, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Completes work accurately with minimal errors.
• Participates in volunteer activities and financial education efforts.
