Job summary

PNC is seeking a Relationship Banker Business Specialist to be based in Durham, NC at the Roxboro Road Branch. The role focuses on acquiring and expanding share of wallet for consumer and business banking with partners across the bank to meet client needs.

You will provide a differentiated client experience through tailored solutions in deposits, lending, cash management, and investments while managing referrals and risk within branch operations.

Qualifications

  • Notary Public in applicable state required.

The Relationship Banker Business Specialist will be based in Durham, NC at the Roxboro Road Branch.

Job Description
  • Acquire and expand share of wallet for Consumer and Business Banking opportunities under 2MM in sales revenue. Lead and collaborate with a wide range of ecosystem partners to achieve business results.
  • Manage proactive lead generation and appointments inside and outside the branch. Translate client information from various sources into actionable sales strategies and tactics, generate quality referrals, and leverage tools and protocols to maximize business results.
  • Develop ecosystem leadership inside and outside the branch as a COI. Work with partners such as PNCWM, PNC Private Bank, Business Banking and Mortgage to meet client needs and hold partners accountable for updates and referral follow‑up.
  • Provide a differentiated client experience through advanced conversation skills, tailored solutions, and prompt problem resolution across deposits, lending, cash management, payments, and investing.
  • Collaborate with the branch team to identify and create referrals for consumer and business banking opportunities, working closely with the Branch Manager and Business Banker.
  • Create client loyalty and grow client share of wallet through lobby engagement, education on financial options, and effective use of technology, tools, and resources.
  • Manage risk by adhering to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits, and participating in daily branch operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Work Experience

Position requires the ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state.
