Qualifications

  • 12+ months Santander experience related to Relationship Banker functions with endorsements required.
  • 12+ months customer service experience in a high-volume environment required.

Job description

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting and cross-selling banking products and services
  • Develop and maintain client relationships by understanding financial needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management, and community engagement
  • Meet customers' transactional, servicing, and product needs
  • Deliver personalized, seamless, and attentive customer service
  • Foster customer loyalty by addressing concerns and providing timely resolutions
  • Engage customers through digital platforms and educate them on self-service options
  • Communicate with customers in person, by phone, and through digital channels
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense
  • Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive performance
  • Support nearby branch locations based on business necessity
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Preferred
  • 3+ years experience selling products and/or services in an incentive-based environment - Required
  • OR 12+ months experience in retail banking sales, financial services sales, or consultative relationship sales in a related industry, with proven success establishing new customers, deepening customer relationships, and delivering results - Required
  • OR 12+ months demonstrated successful Santander experience related to the essential functions and responsibilities of the Relationship Banker role, with District Executive, District Operations Manager, and Region President endorsement of performance - Required
  • 12+ months customer service experience within a high-volume, fast-paced, and constantly changing environment - Required
  • Established relationship-building skills with a focus on customer experience and loyalty
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others
  • Proven track record in sales and cross-selling products and services
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication, consultative, and influence skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to display a credible, trustworthy, and professional image at all times
  • Proficient in using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement
  • Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures
