Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relationship Banker to join a growing commercial banking team. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a strong network in the NY/NJ region and a background in serving high-net-worth individuals, private equity clients, and mid-market businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of strategic client relationships with a focus on credit, deposits, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with private equity firms, family offices, and business owners seeking strategic financial services.
  • Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across lending, deposit, and advisory services, leveraging an existing network.
  • Credit Structuring & Risk Analysis: Partner with internal credit teams to structure financing solutions including senior debt, mezzanine, and acquisition financing.
  • Advisory & Deal Structuring: Provide consultative guidance on M&A transactions, capital raising, and other financial strategies for small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Manage an active client portfolio to ensure satisfaction, retention, and cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in relationship banking or commercial banking.
  • Strong network and client base in the NY/NJ region (required).
  • Demonstrated experience in loans, deposits, and private equity or credit-related services.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a lean, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Start Date: Immediate
