Overview

Position Title: Relationship Banker

Business Unit: Retail

Reports to: Varies Based on Assignment

Location: 1416 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA 19601 (primary office location). The incumbent may be required to work at various locations within the market.

Position Description: This position develops proficiency in basic consumer banking transactions, account servicing, and lending. The incumbent executes branch leads under the direction of the Manager and consistently handles customer transaction requests while identifying opportunities to convert transactions into qualified sales or referral leads. The role adheres to all FNB policies, procedures, strategies, and core values.

Responsibilities
  • Promote the sales process by greeting customers, identifying service and product needs, leveraging sales leads, and making outbound calls.
  • Make appropriate recommendations in selling and cross-selling bank products and services.
  • Identify and achieve individual weekly sales/referral goals as set by the Branch Manager.
  • Incorporate FNB digital products and services into customer interactions.
  • Input and maintain high data quality for referrals, customers, and applicants using approved branch technology.
  • Complete and manage the lifecycle of all new and existing relationships in accordance with consumer banking standards.
  • Perform routine operational duties, including traditional teller transactions and other tasks according to established policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
  • Act as a risk manager by understanding, reporting, responding to, and monitoring daily risk as required by the company’s risk management program.
  • Comply with regulatory laws and company procedures; adherence is a required component of the role.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum Experience: 0 years of job-related experience
  • Skills: Excellent customer service; excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities; detail-oriented; proficient with personal computers and job-related software (MS Word – basic, MS Excel – intermediate, MS PowerPoint – basic)
  • Experience in a related position; knowledge of banking policies, consumer products and services; sales and customer service skills
Licensures/Certifications
  • Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier preferred, but may be required.
