School in the Square is seeking a High School Humanities Special Education Teacher in Washington Heights to join a mission-driven team. You will work with grades 9-10, reporting to the Principal and collaborating with the SLT to maintain high academic standards while supporting students' social-emotional growth.

You will engage diverse learners using differentiated instruction, co-teaching, and restorative practices, while leveraging technology to enhance instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant content area.
• Current NYS Teaching Certification or willingness to enroll in program within 2 years.
• Experience with relational and restorative approaches is valued.
