Job summary

Allianz Australia Sydney is seeking a Reinsurance Claims Technician to manage notifications, updates, recoveries and settlements with reinsurers and brokers. You will monitor portfolios to maximise recoveries, support regulatory compliance, and work with claims teams and stakeholders to improve outcomes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in claims/reinsurance/finance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims systems.

About the role

Play a key role in managing Allianz’s reinsurance claims portfolio by partnering with reinsurers and brokers, providing timely loss notifications, claims updates, and recoveries management. This role helps maximise reinsurance recoveries, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and support positive claims outcomes for the business and customers.
