Job summary

Marsh Re. seeks a skilled professional to join our team in New York or Philadelphia.

This hybrid role requires in-office work at least three days per week and focuses on managing a client portfolio, timely follow-up, and accurate activity entry to secure reinsurance premiums. You will collaborate across departments to support collections and fund settlements while providing detailed accounting and claims information to sales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in excess of loss reinsurance and accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or risk management required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned client portfolio, including timely follow-up, accurate system entry of client activity, and securing reinsurance premiums.
• Collaborate with other departments to support collection efforts and cash application processes as needed.
• Oversee timely settlement of funds to and from clients, ensuring compliance with all payment warranties and conditions.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Provide detailed client-specific accounting and claims information to support sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets by understanding their needs and resolving issues effectively; actively participate in team meetings to share knowledge and contribute to outcomes.
