Responsabilités

• Oversee key accounting processes for the Insurance Segment including statutory accounting and GAAP.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and support regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with other areas to design, implement, and facilitate accounting operational processes.
• Analyze financial data to support business decision-making.
• Propose improvements in the operational framework and drive efficiency initiatives.
• Perform monthly and/or quarterly closing procedures and post reinsurance journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Support treaty administration, including settlements, cash movements, and statement validation.
• Review treaty documentation for accuracy against contract terms.
• Maintain standard reinsurance reports for internal management and regulatory use.
• Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and operations teams on reinsurance balances and reserves.
• Provide accounting support during onboarding of new transactions.
• Support ongoing automation and finance transformation projects.
• Assist with audit requests and maintain control documentation.
• Participate in cross-functional special projects.

KKR's Insurance Segment Accounting Operations team is responsible for producing timely and accurate financial results for our business stakeholder, ensuring strong control environment is supported in our organization and significant transactions are operationalized appropriately from accounting standpoint. POSITION SUMMARY

KKR seeks to recruit an Associate to focus on supporting our complex reinsurance accounting processes across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, continuous improvement focus and ability to multitask. This individual will work effectively within the broader Accounting Operations team, supporting our close process and various projects, as well as collaborate frequently with FP&A, Investments Accounting, Bermuda Finance and other organizational stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate Reinsurance Accounting position is responsible for overseeing key accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting regulatory compliance within KKR's Insurance Segment while coordinating with other areas across the organization. This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, including statutory accounting and GAAP, standard accounting processes, and SOX control frameworks. This role will provide support to key stakeholders across the organization to design, implement and facilitate accounting operational processes and to analyze financial data to support business decision-making.

• Ensure the processes in place support organizational needs, propose improvements in the operational framework, and drive efficiency initiatives
• Perform monthly and/or quarterly closing procedures, including preparation and posting of reinsurance journal entries, performing account reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Support treaty administration, including settlements, cash movements, and statement validation.
• Assist in reviewing treaty documentation for accuracy against contract terms.
• Maintain standard reinsurance reports for internal management and regulatory use.
• Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on reinsurance balances and reserves.
• Serve as accounting support during onboarding of new transactions.
• Support ongoing automation and finance transformation projects.
• Assist with audit requests and maintain control documentation.
• Participate in special projects with cross-functional impact.
• Assist with ad-hoc requests, as needed
• Comfort using AI-powered tools to improve productivity and quality of work
• Curiosity about and openness to adopting emerging AI technologies in day-to-day workflows
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and relevance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant preferred
• Big Four experience preferred (associate or higher)
• 4-8 years of related work experience with recent experience in insurance industry
• Experience with Oracle or SAP accounting systems preferred

This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston/Des Moines -based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.

Base Salary Range $90,000 - $140,000
