Job summary

Chubb European Group Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Reinsurance Accountant to manage monthly and quarterly accounts, investigate discrepancies, and support financial reporting.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate receivable and payable balances and timely responses to audits. You will review ceded reinsurance premiums and losses, generate standard reports for management, and resolve issues with reinsurers’ statements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of reinsurance accounting experience.
• Ability to identify areas for process improvement.
• Ability to analyze large data sets to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, disburse, and settle monthly and quarterly accounts under contract using automation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third parties to verify billings and collect open balances.
