The Reinstatement team processes both inquires for reinstatement requirements as well as the process to reinstate policies.

Responsibilities of the Reinstatement Analyst include:

  • Determine requirements based on defined guidelines, create clear and concise correspondence, as well as ensuring policies have updated accordingly in all applicable systems
  • Properly review and address suspense items in a timely manner consistent with procedures and defined expectations.
  • Responsible for proper case documentation for each case
  • Handle customer/advisor inquiries and transactions within defined time and quality standards
  • Perform transactions, be able to independently research and resolve customer inquiries
  • With guidance, may handle complex and sensitive casework

The base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $51,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years customer service or transaction processing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of product features and transaction processing
  • Proactive self-starter; proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision/direction
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork/collaboration skills
  • Customer service acumen
  • Acts in compliance with regulatory agency (FINRA, SEC, State Insurance Department) guidelines

Skills:

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
