What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Coding certification from an approved organization such as the American Academy of Professional Coders or American Health Information Management Association
• Educational qualifications from an accredited institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation
• Must be a resident of Wisconsin

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Associate degree in Medical Billing and Coding, Health Information Management, or related field
• Three years of progressive surgical coding/auditing experience
