Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Reimbursement Analyst in Lewiston, ME. You will support cost reporting, net revenue analysis, and financial reporting under the Director of Finance, collaborating with auditors and hospital finance teams.

The role requires 1–3 years in hospital cost reporting, Excel proficiency, and strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports; CPA and audit experience are preferred. Full-time, days shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or three years of equivalent experience in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUPs, SUMIF, SUMPRODUCT, INDIRECT).
• 1–3 years of cost reporting experience in hospital systems.
• CPA preferred.
• Audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Reporting under the Director, Finance, this position will be a key team member. The Reimbursement Analyst will work on various projects, ad hoc request, and monthly/quarterly/annual reviews and analysis around cost reports, net revenue, and financial reporting. The Reimbursement Analyst will also work with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or three years of equivalent experience in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in working with Medicare and Medicaid cost report.
• Experience working with Excel (v-lookups, sumif, sumproduct, indirect, etc..)
• 1 - 3 years of cost reporting experience with hospital systems.
• Certified Public Accountant preferred.
• Audit experience preferred.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Healthcare Corporation offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $55,120.00 to $74,193.60 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
