Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support therapists in daily patient care and therapy activities in a patient-centered setting. The role emphasizes safe transport, clear communication with patients and families, and collaboration with nurses and the broader care team.

You will prepare equipment, maintain a safe environment, and assist with therapy sessions according to patient schedules, contributing to a compassionate, high-quality rehabilitation

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.

Responsabilités

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
