AdventHealth in Apopka, FL is seeking a part-time staff member to assist in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. The role involves patient care support, clerical duties, and flexible scheduling (approx. 20 hours per week, primarily 7am-1pm on Mon; 7am-1pm on Wed; 9am-3pm on Thu).

You will support clinicians, prepare rooms, and help maintain a safe, efficient clinic environment. Qualifications include a High School Grad or equivalent and comfort with basic computer tasks; CPR/BLS is preferred.

Job Description: Location: Sports Med and Rehab Apopka (2100 Ocoee Apopka Rd Suite 30, Apopka, FL 32703) Schedule: Part time, approx. 20 hours per week. M 7a-1p, Tue W 7a-1p, Thur 9a-3p, open to some flexibility

• Anticipates needs and assists staff with patient care, treatment, and other tasks by promptly carrying out assigned activities.
• Ensures patient and staff safety by recognizing and responding appropriately to situations that increase risk.
• Prepares treatment room/area for patients and maintains a safe, clean care environment.
• Assists in patient care duties under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Communicates effectively with patients, family, and healthcare professionals within and across care settings and communities.
• Attends department meetings and educational sessions as required.
• As requested, perform clerical duties, including front office coverage/scheduling, as well as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms.
• Adapts to changes in workload by altering working hours to assist in other areas, centers, or programs as approved by the supervisor or manager.
• Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department and Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities.
• Assists staff with patient care, treatment, and other tasks by promptly carrying out assigned duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English Ability to comprehend and follow instructions

Education: High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred]

Pay Range: $15.30 - $22.95
