Job summary

State of South Carolina’s SC Commission for the Blind seeks a Rehabilitation Technology Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Rehabilitation Technology team, manage referrals, schedule assessments, and coordinate device delivery to ensure timely services for SCCB consumers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology for individuals who are blind or have low vision and case management experience.

The mission of the SC Commission for the Blind (SCCB), established in 1966, is to provide quality individualized vocational rehabilitation services, independent living services, and prevention-of-blindness services to South Carolinians who are blind or low vision leading to competitive employment and social and economic independence.
