Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician for the Westmont Cass Ave clinic. This full-time role is 40 hours per week with hours Monday–Friday, and some evenings until 7:00 pm, plus occasional Saturday coverage.

You will work under PT/OT supervision to support patient care and clinic operations. You will set up and adjust equipment, assist with modalities, educate patients, ensure safety, and help manage clinic flow and front-end tasks.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Knowledge of common medical terminology.
• Understand principles and precautions for therapy modalities.
• Identify proper patient setup on equipment and adjust as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and guidance under PT/OT supervision.
• Execute care plans with PT/OT providers.
• Set up and adjust therapy equipment.
• Assist with modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, heat/cold packs).
• Demonstrate exercises and cue patients for correct form.
• Monitor safety and patient response during exercise.
• Discuss patient performance with PT/OT providers.
• Support clinic flow and on-time start of appointments.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Handle front-end tasks: check-in, co-pays, phone calls, scheduling.
• Coordinate with teams regarding patient insurance benefits.

Together, we create an environment where you can grow, contribute, and help improve the experience and outcomes for every patient we serve.Overview: Rehabilitation TechnicianPosition Highlights:Westmont - Cass Ave clinicPhysical/Occupational TherapyFull-Time, 40 hours/weekHours: Monday-Friday; hours vary between 7:00am-7:00pm; must work two evenings until 7:00pmOccasional Saturday coverage will be neededTravel: Expected to travel other sites for coverage needsBenefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.Employer provided life and disability insurance.Immediate 401(k) match.40 hours paid volunteer time off.A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members.Responsibilities:Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Director, the Rehabilitation Technician will be responsible for:Patient care, support, and guidanceExecute plans of care under guidance of PT/OT providers.Proper set up and adjustment of exercise equipment.Assist with set up and delivery of modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs, etc.)Utilize appropriate educational techniques including demonstration and cueing to ensure patient understanding of exercises.Monitor patient safety and response to exercise intensity.Discuss patient performance with PT/OT provider.Clinic flowMonitor patient arrivals to department.Start patients on time for scheduled appointments/keep patients apprised of any clinician delays.Maintain cleanliness of clinic, including waiting areas, exam rooms, and all equipment.Order all supplies to keep clinic stocked, under direction from Manager.Front end tasksPerform necessary front-end tasks including but not limited to check-in, co-pay/financial responsibility collection, answering phones, and scheduling future appointments.Communicate via chat with PT/OT and Chiropractic referral team regarding patient insurance benefits.Schedule management for clinicians (i.e., patient confirmation calls, rescheduling patients as needed).Qualifications:CPR certification required (certification offered through Duly Health and Care)High School DiplomaKnowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations.Understand principles, as well as contraindications/precautions in the use of therapy modalities.Can identify proper patient set-up on each piece of equipment with the ability to adjust.Identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning.Team-oriented.Attention to detail and follow-through.Problem solving, lateral thinking and reasoning skills.Communication skills.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $15.10-18.00 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
