ProCare Injury Specialists in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support patient care in rehabilitation settings. You'll assist with therapeutic exercises, prep treatment areas, and guide patients through exercises, both in-clinic and at home, contributing to a positive patient experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred (especially in kinesiology, sports medicine, pre-med, or related field).
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist healthcare providers in delivering rehab treatments and therapeutic exercises to patients.
• Help patients with mobility and strength exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety.
• Greet patients and prepare them for treatment sessions.
• Provide clear instructions for in-clinic and at-home exercises and self-care.
• Teach patients how to use rehab equipment correctly and guide them through exercises.
• Keep treatment areas clean and organized; sanitize equipment.
• Document patient information and update records as needed for ongoing care.
• Answer questions from patients, offering reassurance and clarity about treatment.
• Support the administrative team by facilitating communication between patients and providers.
• Collaborate with teammates to continuously improve care and services.

How You Will Make an Impact

As a Rehabilitation Technician, you'll play a vital role on our team, working alongside healthcare providers to support patient care in rehabilitation settings throughout the Round Rock area. In this role, you’ll help patients with exercises, maintain our treatment areas, and perform a variety of tasks that help ensure a smooth, effective rehab experience. What You Will Do

Requirements

What You Will Bring

• Previous healthcare or rehab experience is helpful, but not required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
• Professional, empathetic demeanor with a focus on excellent patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred (especially in kinesiology, sports medicine, pre-med, or a related field).
• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and rehabilitation exercises.
• A positive attitude, approachable demeanor, and professional appearance.
• Being bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Work Hours
