Job summary

Bon Secours in Richmond, VA is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician (Rehab Tech) to support therapists and patients in the Richmond Health Source Shared Services area. The role involves assisting with patient setup, equipment preparation, documentation, and routine care tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.

This PRN daytime position requires a High School Diploma or GED and strong communication, organizational and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support is preferred on hire; must be obtained within 30 days for BSMH and at hire for RSFH.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients, visitors and staff in accordance with organization guidelines.
• Performs routine functions in patient care databases and EMR systems.
• Assists therapists and therapy assistants with patient care as needed.
• Maintains department supplies within budget as directed by leadership.
• Performs cleaning, quality checks, temperature monitoring and related duties.
• Transports patients as directed, using proper technique and equipment.
