Lifepoint Health, Inc. is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington in Arlington, TX. This PRN position supports the interdisciplinary team and contributes to delivering high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes assisting with therapy tasks, transporting patients, and communicating with team members. Candidates should have a HS diploma, CPR certification, and reliable, team-oriented work ethic.

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months rehab setting experience recommended; on-the-job training after orientation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to follow directions; patient transport and safe lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability, teamwork and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Follow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.
• Communicate clearly with members of the rehabilitation team.
• Observe patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.
• Lift and carry equipment, supplies, and materials up to 50 lbs; use proper body mechanics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute

A Rehabilitation Technicianwho excels in this role:

• Follow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.
• Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) with members of the rehabilitation team.
• Observe and recognize patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.
• Lift and carry equipment, supplies, and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; use proper body mechanics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.Additional requirements include:

• 6-12 months of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting strongly recommended; willing to participate in on-the-job training after orientation.
• Current CPR certification (as required)
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to follow directions; patient transport and safe lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs); observation and basic documentation; reliability, team work and time management.
