Job description

Benchmark Therapies is seeking a motivated Part Time Rehabilitation Department Technician for Laurel View Village in Davidsville, PA.

In this essential role, you would be joining our therapy team to aid them in staying organized and productive as they provide rehabilitative treatments to their patients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  1. Perform clerical duties such as maintenance of patient files under direction from the therapy team
  2. Clean and maintain treatment areas and equipment to specified safety and infection control standards
  3. Assist in departmental communications such as meeting attendance, telephoning, emailing, scheduling, submitting supply requests, etc.
  4. Maintain strict confidentiality of resident, customer and company information and communication
  5. Assist with resident preparation for treatment and intervention under the direction of the therapy team

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Organized and able to multi-task
  3. Strong customer service skills, compassionate personality and the ability to interact positively with fellow team members, patients, customer staff, patient family members, etc.
  4. Able to follow written or verbal directions
  5. Able to lift/carry equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs. with frequent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending and/or crouching
  6. Willing to learn and participate in trainings
  7. Knowledge of filing, answering phones, working with a group
