Job description

Rehabilitation Technician

The Rehabilitation Technician, under close supervision, assists with patient care activities as directed by rehab personnel. Working under direct supervision, this position helps prepare treatment areas, equipment, and materials for rehabilitation sessions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Aiding patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed, and reporting any changes in patient performance.
2. Preparing and maintaining an adequate inventory of therapy supplies and equipment to ensure availability for rehabilitation sessions.
3. Monitoring and recording patients' responses and progress during rehabilitation sessions to inform necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
4. Cleansing, maintaining, and organizing equipment and space, and performing clerical and other technical duties as outlined by the department.
5. Communicating effectively with patients and families, using appropriate language, tone, and demeanor while considering patients' age, culture, and needs.
6. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
