Job summary

IU Health Fishers Hospital in Fishers, IN is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support clinicians with patient mobility, positioning, and daily care tasks. This full-time role requires a High School Diploma/GED, and completion of the rehab tech training program within 3 months of hire.

You will help maintain treatment areas and equipment, participate in infection control and safety programs, and assist with inventory and clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of rehabilitation technician training within 3 months of hire.
• 1–3 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Familiarity with patient lifting and handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient care tasks under clinician supervision.
• Assist with safe mobility and positioning of patients.
• Maintain and clean treatment areas and equipment.
• Participate in safety, infection control and compliance activities.
• Handle inventory and basic clerical tasks as needed.
• Transport medications to treatment rooms when required.
