Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a PRN rehab technician to support outpatient services with an option to train in inpatient care. The role covers Bloomington, Spencer and Morgan sites, delivering routine patient care under clinician supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with safe mobility, maintaining treatment areas, managing supplies, and transporting medications as needed. Requires HS diploma, BLS within 6 months, and rehab tech training within 3 months; 1–3 years healthcare

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required.
BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Rehabilitation technician training completed within 3 months of hire.
1–3 years healthcare experience preferred.
Familiarity with patient lifting and handling procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform designated routine patient care tasks under the direct supervision of the clinician(s).
Assist the clinician to provide safe mobility and positioning of the patient as needed.
Maintain and clean treatment areas and equipment.
Participate in operational aspects of the department and safety programs.
Order, distribute and maintain inventory of designated supplies.
Transport medications to/from the patient treatment room for patient care.
